September 15th, 2007The following is a recording of the 9-11 Patriot Day Remembrance Ceremony at Hoover’s Fire Station #2. It was in honor of those who have served and continue to serve in the war on terror.
In response to the attacks of September 11, 2001, the following City of Hoover employees served in our nation’s military: Smiddie Avery, Fred Bass, Doyle Burns, Curtis Carpenter, Mark Crumpton, Brendon Ellis, Kenneth Fountain, Jeff Green, Tracy Harris, Dale Holsombeck, Sam Honea, Joseph Warren Knight, Edward Leach, Claude Pierce, Jessie Popee, A. C. Roper, Lennie Sams, Tim Moynihan, Caleb Pittman, Ronnie Swanger, Rick Tucker and Pamela Teer.
